Breathwork Coaching

Whilst I have been away, I have been using the Oxygen Advantage Breathwork to both recover and also to become a functional breathwork coach. I have wanted to be a breathwork coach for a long time and I have chosen a scienced backed system which is gentle and safe for everyone. Many of my clients have chronic health conditions or / and pain and research shows breathing correctly is fundamental for recovery and pain relief. The research is mounting and the Oxygen advantage team have been working tirelessly for 21 years trying to bring awareness of the importance of functional breath training, moving away from mouth breathing, shallow breathing, hyper / hypoventilation. Dysfunctional breathing is linked to chronic health issues, hormone disruptions, teeth and gum hygiene issues, chronic stress and overwhelm. Patrick McKeown has invested over a hundred thousand of his own money to create a free app to help people breathe well and to overcome sleep problems, anxiety, stress, overwhelm and pain. He has a dream to get his functional breathing techniques on the school curriculum to help children manage stress, improve focus, clarity and to connect to nature and explore spirituality. I have popped some links at the end of the blog, I am very excited to be bring this into the clinic, exercise prescription and online sessions.
